Maybe people might think that Spray Carnations are old-fashioned, but Claire totally loves these flowers. Why? Well... first of all, they are stronger than most roses when they are in a vase at home. Spray Carnations can last for 2 or 3 weeks. Even when these flowers wither, they fade in a beautiful way. Spray Carnations are also very cheap to buy in the Netherlands, much cheaper than roses. And the light pink variety gives a soft and cuddly image.
Veel mensen kunnen trosanjers ouderwets vinden, maar Claire is helemaal gek op deze bloemen. Waarom? Nou... ten eerste zijn ze sterker dan de meeste rozen wanneer ze in een vaas staan thuis. Trosanjers staan zo'n 2 a 3 weken. Als de bloemen verwelken, dan gebeurt dat op een mooie manier. Trosanjers zijn erg goedkoop om aan te schaffen in Nederland, veel goedkoper als rozen. En de lichtroze variëteit heeft een zacht en aaibaar karakter.
