The knobs were really boring and I wanted to add a special touch. Just painting them wouldn't satisfy me, so I did this: I covered the knobs with clay! And while the clay was still soft, I pressed a pretty flowerstamp into it to create relief. De knopjes waren erg saai en ik wilde er iets speciaals van maken. Gewoon verven zou me niet genoeg voldoening geven. Dus ik deed dit: ik bedekte de knopjes met klei! It was in desperate need of a colour change. So, with my sister's help, after sanding it, we painted it in primer. And as I couldn't wait, I styled it even before it had it actual color on. Really shabby! Quite liked it. And it came out a beauty. It's a bit too neat now, though. So I will sand down the edges for a more weathered look . Het moest nodig een andere kleur hebben. Dus, met hulp van mijn zusje, hebben we het, na het schuren in de grondverf gezet. En het werd een schoonheid. Het is nu wel een beetje te netjes. Dus ik wil de randjes nog een beetje opschuren om een brocantere look te krijgen. Thrift Shop Make Over / Kringloopwinkel Make Over

This is one of the things we really love to do!<br />The thrift shop was one big space with yellow walls and dark blue painting. We've changed that into pastel green walls, white painting and made separate rooms and gave every room different wallpaper. We've also made a library and a coffee corner. We used wood scaffold for changing rooms, sales tables, cupboards and the counter. Dit is een van de dingen die we graag doen! De kringloopwinkel was eerst een grote ruimte met gele muren en donkerblauw schilderwerk. We veranderden dit in pastelgroene muren, wit schilderwerk en we maakten aparte kamers en gaven elke kamer ander behang. Ook maakten we een bibliotheek en een koffiecorner. We gebruikten steigerhout voor paskamers, verkooptafels, kasten en de toonbank. En we gebruikten trellisschermen om de koffiecorner te scheiden van het kledinggedeelte.

I made these cupcakes for last christmas. To keep them well shaped during the baking process, I litteraly baked them in cups! It worked great. And for the decoration, I used fondant and stamped them with floral stamps. To finish it of in style, I placed a dried baby rosebud on top. Ik heb deze cupcakes laatst gemaakt, met de kerst. Om ze goed in vorm te houden tijdens het bakken, heb ik ze letterlijk in kopjes gebakken! Het werkte geweldig. En als decoratie gebruikte ik fondant en heb ik ze bestempeld met bloemen. Om ze af te maken in dezelfde stijl, plaatse ik er een gedroogd baby rozenknopje bovenop.
