As promised before, I'd show you what I would do with my newfound treasures. Well here's number one! My Doily Handbag! I love the girly silhoutte. I wanted the beautiful intricate pattern of the doily to be shown to its best. So, I sewed it on this linen natural coloured fabric, which compliments it beautifuly. 
The flower is made of two other doilies, that my mom brought home. But I wasn't really impressed about their pattern. So those were perfect to crumple up in a rose-like flower. Some new lace to finish it and voilá! I think I'm in love...
Zoals eerder beloofd, zou ik laten zien wat ik zou doen met mijn nieuwe schatten. Wel, hier is nummer een! Mijn Kanten Kleedjes Handtas! Ik ben dol op het 'girly' silhouet. Ik wilde het mooie verfijnde patroon van het kanten kleedje op z'n best laten zien. Dus naaide ik het op deze linnen stof in natuurlijke tint, die er heel goed bij past.
De bloem is gemaakt van 2 andere kleedjes, die mijn moeder thuis bracht. Maar ik was niet echt gecharmeerd van de patronen. Dus die waren perfect om op te kreuken tot een roos-achtige bloem. Wat nieuw kant erbij om het af te maken en voilá! Ik denk dat ik verliefd ben...
